[tex-live] rc-texlive2003-inst-20030822.iso Problems under Win2K

Using Windows 2000 SP5:

I installed last night's release candidate -- full install including 
xemtex support -- to F:\TexLive.  I get the following results from the 
Windows command line.  Are these real bugs or have I missed something?

F:\Temp\fptexsave>pdflatex tlatex
File not found: f:\TeXLive\bin\win32\.\pdfetex.exe
pdflatex: can't find the target .\pdfetex.exe.

Note that in the last two cases, at least, the paths are messed up: 
drive c: should be f: and the "\.\" doesn't belong there.
