As far as I could see, most changes are related to the obsolete 
'styles' directory. I've had these. However, porting my data in 
texdoc-local.dat to TeXLive will need some parsing, to ensure 
that only the docs from the Master tree are used (I tend to add 
lots of documentation to texmf-local) .

Btw, the texdoctk manual page says:

  The documentation is grouped into 17  categories;  the  18th
  button of the main panel is inactive by default.

while my version has 21 categories, all active. Is this a problem?
